Modern Amenities and Technology

Modern dental technology helps us find problems earlier and plan your treatment with more precision. At our office in Orange, CA, a digital scanner replaces messy putty impressions, and 3D imaging shows details a regular X-ray can miss. We recommend each tool only when it benefits your care, and we explain why before we use it.

Advanced Dental Technology

3D CBCT Imaging

Cone beam CT (CBCT) is a 3D X-ray that shows your teeth, jawbone and nerves from every angle in a scan that usually takes under a minute. We use it to measure the bone and plan each Nobel Biocare implant, and only when a regular X-ray can't show enough detail.

iTero Digital Scanning

The iTero scanner builds a detailed 3D model of your teeth and bite, so you can skip the putty impressions many people dislike. It's usually much easier if you have a sensitive gag reflex, and we use these scans for crowns, Invisalign and implant planning.

Intraoral Photos

A small camera takes close-up photos of your teeth and gums, giving you a clear view of areas that are hard to see in a mirror. When we find a crack or a worn filling, we can show it to you, so you understand exactly what needs care and why.

Biolase Laser Dentistry

Our FDA-cleared Biolase laser uses focused light to treat certain gum and soft-tissue problems, including laser gum treatment. For some procedures, it can mean less bleeding and a quicker recovery than you would have with traditional instruments.

Guided Biofilm Therapy

Guided Biofilm Therapy uses warm water and an air polisher to lift away plaque biofilm, the sticky film of bacteria on your teeth. Many patients find it more comfortable than scraping alone, especially if their teeth are sensitive to cold water or air.

Nobel Biocare Implant System

We use the Nobel Biocare implant system for single teeth, All-on-4 and implant-supported dentures. We plan each case with CBCT 3D imaging and an iTero digital scan, so your implant is placed with care and your new teeth fit well.

OralDNA Testing

OralDNA testing maps the harmful and helpful bacteria in your mouth, giving us a closer look at your oral microbiome. The results help us understand your risk for gum disease and plan your cleanings and home care with that risk in mind.

Red Light Therapy

For sore jaw muscles caused by TMJ problems, we offer red light therapy that's FDA-cleared for TMJ muscle pain. We may recommend it along with a night guard or a bite adjustment to help ease the tension in your jaw over time.

Comfort at Every Visit

Regular Check-Ins

Our treatment rooms are quiet, and we let you know what's coming before each step so nothing catches you by surprise. We check on you as we work, and you can raise your hand at any time if you'd like to pause for a short break.

Comfort Menu

You're welcome to ask for a warm blanket, an eye mask or a little aromatherapy to help you relax during your visit. Each treatment room also has a TV and noise-canceling headphones, so you can watch a show or listen to music while we work.

Sedation Options

If dental visits make you very anxious or your treatment will take a long time, IV sedation may be a good option for you. A California-licensed dental anesthesiologist comes to our office for these visits and monitors you from start to finish.
