What Is Orthodontics?
Orthodontics moves teeth into better positions and can improve the way your upper and lower teeth fit together. In our office, we use Invisalign clear aligners, a series of thin, custom trays that move your teeth gradually into place.
You typically change to a fresh set of aligners every one to two weeks, and they come out whenever you eat or brush. We estimate your treatment time after your scan, and a custom retainer helps keep your teeth in place once treatment is finished.

Is Invisalign Right for You?
Clear aligners work well for many adults with crowding, gaps and some bite problems, including teeth that have shifted years after braces. For good results, you'll need to wear your aligners most of the day, usually 20 to 22 hours. If a severe bite or jaw problem needs a different approach, we will tell you honestly and help you find the right next step.
If you have a cavity or inflamed gums, we treat those first. Teeth move most predictably when the gums and bone around them are healthy.
