Background
Dr. Lee sees every new patient himself for a first visit of 60 to 90 minutes. As a general dentist, he wants you to understand your own oral health and feel confident about the care he recommends.
He earned his undergraduate degree at the Georgia Institute of Technology and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 2013. Each year, he completes more than 100 hours of continuing education to keep his skills and knowledge current.
Dr. Lee's Clinical Philosophy
Dr. Lee believes great dentistry begins with listening and building trust. He knows dental visits can make people anxious, so he works gently, explains each step before he starts and stops whenever you signal for a break.
For extra comfort, you can relax under a warm blanket during treatment. For longer visits or strong anxiety, IV sedation is given by a California-licensed dental anesthesiologist who works alongside him.
His care is evidence-based and considers the link between your mouth and your overall well-being. He reviews your scan and photos with you, explains each option clearly and gives you time to decide what's right for you.
Service and Community
Dr. Lee is a U.S. Army veteran. He has also volunteered dental care in underserved communities in the United States, Taiwan and Sri Lanka.
He has taken part in the ADA Foundation's Give Kids A Smile® program, which provides dental care to children in need. Locally, he supports the Orange County Humane Society.
Personal
Dr. Lee was born in South Carolina and grew up in Ohio, California, Georgia and Taiwan. Living in so many places helped him feel at home with people from many different backgrounds.
Outside the office, he enjoys weightlifting, yoga, surfing and watching football. He also loves caring for his dog.
