The focused beam can target diseased gum tissue closely, which helps protect the healthy gum tissue right around the treated area.

Putting off gum treatment because you're dreading the soreness afterward? Laser dentistry in Orange, CA, treats gum problems in a minimally invasive way, often with less bleeding and swelling. That can mean a more comfortable visit and a quicker return to your routine.
A dental laser uses a focused beam of light to treat gum and soft tissue. Our office uses an FDA-cleared Biolase laser, mainly for laser gum treatment and gingivectomy, which removes overgrown or diseased gum tissue.
Because the laser seals small blood vessels as it works, many patients have less bleeding and an easier recovery. Some cases heal just as well with standard care, and our dentist will tell you honestly which approach suits your gums.
The focused beam can target diseased gum tissue closely, which helps protect the healthy gum tissue right around the treated area.
The laser seals small blood vessels as it works, so there's usually less bleeding, less swelling afterward and fewer stitches.
Depending on the procedure, some soft-tissue treatments need less local anesthetic with a laser than with traditional gum surgery.
Most laser gum treatments are completed in a single visit, and each step is explained before it happens.
Book NowWe examine the area and review your X-rays with you. We explain whether the laser is a good fit, what it costs and what else could work.
Everyone in the room wears protective glasses while the laser is on. We numb the area if your treatment calls for it and check that you're comfortable.
We guide the laser tip carefully along the gum line, and you may feel slight warmth. You can raise your hand for a break at any time.
Before you leave, we explain what to eat and how to keep the area clean. Most people feel only mild tenderness for a day or two afterward.
Our Biolase laser, CBCT 3D imaging and iTero scanner are used only when they help your care, and we explain why first.
We consider how sleep, stress and nutrition affect your gums, and OralDNA testing can identify bacteria behind repeat flare-ups.
We ask about your past dental visits and what made them hard for you, then plan your appointment around what helps you relax.

Call (714) 282-2525The best deep clean I've ever done! The overall process is comfortable and not painful at all! This is really surprised me a lot because I've done several times of the teeth scaling before in some other places and most of the times i felt very uncomfortable and painful. But this time it absolutely didn't feel any pain. The doctor used the special anesthetic gel before doing the deep cleaning, I can feel a little bit numb in my mouth, but that's all. It took around 30 minutes to complete the deep cleaning, and it felt very fresh and clean. The environment here is excellent as well, it is clean and sweet, all the staff are very nice and happy, with big smiles on their faces:) I will come here again for sure, thanks for the great service!

Yes, laser dentistry is safe when a trained dentist uses it with the right precautions. Our Biolase laser is FDA-cleared, and everyone in the room wears protective eyewear while it's on. The settings are adjusted for each procedure, and the beam is aimed only at the tissue being treated.
Most patients find it comfortable. We numb the area when the procedure calls for it, and you may notice some warmth or a soft popping sound. Bleeding and swelling are often lighter than after traditional gum surgery, though healing varies from person to person.
Our laser is used mainly for gum and soft-tissue care. That includes laser gum treatment for gum disease and gingivectomy for overgrown or diseased gum tissue. After your exam, our dentist can tell you whether the laser would help in your case.
A laser helps with some gum problems, and many others respond just as well to a careful deep cleaning and better home care. We will explain which approach makes the most sense for you and why.
Often in part, because plans usually pay for the procedure itself, such as gum treatment, rather than the tool used. We're in network with Delta Dental, Tricare and Connection Dental plans. Call us and we'll check your benefits before treatment.
