Restored Smile
A well-made denture fills out your smile and supports your lips and cheeks, which can soften the sunken look of missing teeth.
in Orange, CA
Miss biting into an apple or corn on the cob? Dentures in Orange, CA, replace missing teeth with a natural-looking smile made to fit your mouth comfortably. With teeth that fit well, you can eat what you like and smile without holding back.
A full denture replaces all the teeth in your upper or lower jaw. A partial denture fills in the gaps and clips onto your remaining natural teeth, which also keeps them from shifting into the empty spaces.
An immediate denture is made in advance and placed the day your teeth are removed, so you have teeth while you heal. Dentures are often one of the most affordable ways to replace several teeth, and they can be anchored to implants later if you'd like a more secure fit.
A well-made denture fills out your smile and supports your lips and cheeks, which can soften the sunken look of missing teeth.
With your teeth replaced, you can chew a wider variety of foods again, which is good for your nutrition and your enjoyment of meals.
Teeth help you form sounds like "s" and "th," so after a few weeks of practice with your denture, most people find they speak more clearly.
Most dentures take a few visits over several weeks, with each step focused on getting the fit right.
Book NowWe start by asking what you want from your new teeth and how past visits have gone. Our dentist then examines your gums, jawbone and remaining teeth.
We walk you through each type of denture, from full and partial to immediate and implant-supported, and tell you which one we recommend. You can decide at a later visit.
We take digital scans or impressions of your gums and remaining teeth, plus a record of how your jaws close. Your denture is made from these.
You'll try a model of your denture so we can check the fit, bite and look. Tell us what feels off, and we'll change it before the final version.
We place your finished denture and smooth any pressure points. You'll get aftercare instructions for cleaning it and easing sore spots early on.
We choose the shape, size and shade of your teeth to suit your face, and you'll see and approve a try-in version before it's finished.
We adjust each denture until sore spots settle, and as your mouth changes over time, we reline or repair it so it keeps fitting well.
We explain the pros, cons and cost of each option in plain language, and you're welcome to think it over at home before choosing.
We also plan and restore dental implants, so if your denture starts to feel loose later on, it can be anchored to a few implants.

A partial denture also keeps your remaining natural teeth from shifting into the empty spaces.

Since starting my implant treatment with Dr. Desai, I truly felt confident and recognized his expertise. I highly recommend him and his clinic, Dental Spa of Orange.
I had an anchor installed by Dr Desai. He was able to do all the work without feeling any pain. Most of the time. I require a lot of anesthesia. But after I mentioned that he used a stronger anesthesia and it was the best visit to a dentist that I've ever had.
Dental spa has done multiple work for my mom's implants, she is 72 and has major implants needs. She is happy with dental spa's work. As for me, my cleaning is done here, the hygiest is the best. Thank you!

Most people get used to new dentures within a few weeks. At first, it's common to notice extra saliva, a sore spot or two and some trouble with certain words. We'll adjust your denture as often as you need during that time.
The cost depends on the type of denture, any extractions needed first and the materials used. An immediate denture to wear while you heal can also add to the price. After your exam, we'll give you a written estimate, and our Dental Financing page explains payment options.
Many plans cover part of the cost. Dentures are often treated as a major service and paid at a percentage after your deductible, and some plans limit how often a denture can be replaced. We take Delta Dental, Tricare and Connection Dental plans as an in-network office, so call us and we'll check your benefits.
Most people need a new set at some point, even with great care. Dentures typically last several years, but your gums and jawbone keep changing shape, so most need a reline now and then and eventually a replacement. If yours feels loose or rubs, come in and we'll take a look.
Most dentists recommend taking dentures out at night. This gives your gums a chance to rest and lets you clean the denture well. Soak it overnight in cool water or a denture solution so it doesn't dry out, and avoid hot water, which can warp it.
