Secure Fit
Your denture locks onto the implants, so it stays steady when you laugh or bite, and the sore spots where it used to rub usually fade.

Does your lower denture lift every time you bite into a sandwich? Implant-supported dentures in Orange, CA, anchor your denture to dental implants so it stays in place and you can stop buying adhesive. You can chew comfortably, speak clearly and smile without worrying that your teeth will slip.
A regular denture rests on your gums and stays in place with suction or adhesive. An implant-supported denture attaches to dental implants in your jawbone instead, and those implants help slow the bone loss that makes dentures loose over time.
Implant dentures come in two main types. A snap-in overdenture clicks onto two to four implants and comes out for cleaning, while a fixed denture is secured to the implants and only our team removes it.
Over the years, the small attachments in a snap-in denture wear down and are replaced at routine visits. We also reline (refit the inside surface) and repair implant dentures as your mouth changes.

Firm support underneath lets many people enjoy foods they had given up, like raw vegetables, nuts and steak.
Implants stimulate the jawbone much like natural tooth roots, which helps preserve your face shape and keeps your denture fitting well.
Most people go from a loose denture to a secure one in a few months, and healing takes up most of that time.
Book NowTell us what bothers you most about your denture. Our dentist examines your gums and bite and explains snap-in vs. fixed options and their costs.
Your CBCT scan and a digital iTero scan help us plan where each implant goes and exactly how your new denture will attach.
After numbing the area, our team places the implants, with IV sedation if you'd like. You can often wear an adjusted denture while you heal.
The implants usually fuse with your jawbone over about 3 to 6 months. Short checkups along the way make sure healing stays on track.
We connect your new or updated denture to the implants and fine-tune your bite. We'll also show you how to clean around the attachments.
Dr. James Lee, DDS, belongs to the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, uses Nobel Biocare implants and adjusts your bite personally.
A CBCT scan shows your bone, nerves and sinuses in 3D, so each implant can be placed where it will best support your new denture.
A visiting dental anesthesiologist can provide IV sedation for implant placement, and at fittings, you can raise a hand for a break.

Since starting my implant treatment with Dr. Desai, I truly felt confident and recognized his expertise. I highly recommend him and his clinic, Dental Spa of Orange.
I had an anchor installed by Dr Desai. He was able to do all the work without feeling any pain. Most of the time. I require a lot of anesthesia. But after I mentioned that he used a stronger anesthesia and it was the best visit to a dentist that I've ever had.
Dental spa has done multiple work for my mom's implants, she is 72 and has major implants needs. She is happy with dental spa's work. As for me, my cleaning is done here, the hygiest is the best. Thank you!
Clean office, friendly and very helpful staff… More importantly, wonderful and skillful dentists. Good work and very reasonable charges...
Nice and clean place, the doctor is professional and reliable. The best dentist in the town!
We love the dental spa of Orange! Staff are great, dentists are wonderful, appointments are easy to get, facility is clean and well cared for. Highly recommend!
Friendly staff and doctor makes you feel comfortable. Will continue to recommend Dental Spa of Orange to friends and family.
Good cleaning and friendly staff. The Dr is very good. Been going there for years and very satisfied.
I can not say good things about this place. They took my fear and anxiety about the dentist and made me feel safe and comfortable. I can not say enough good things about this place.
The Staff was very friendly and accommodating. With covid making life harder the office made it seem very easy and accessable. The dental surgeon was incredible and cared about my pain management. I am definitely going back for my next dental needs.
I’m very pleased with this office. Honesty is important to me, and this office is that. One of my biggest issues that I have come across with dentistry is charging the insurance for work not done or having work done that is not needed. My last dentist stated I needed 6 fillings and 2 crowns. I went for a second opinion here, and not one of that was needed!

Sometimes it can. If your denture fits well and is in good condition, it may be possible to add attachments that snap onto the implants. Our dentist will look it over at your consultation and explain whether adapting it or making a new one makes more sense.
A snap-in overdenture usually needs two to four implants per arch, while a fixed denture typically needs at least four. The exact number depends on your bone, which jaw is being treated and the design you choose, and your CBCT scan helps us decide.
It depends on your budget and how you'd like to care for your teeth. Snap-in dentures come out for cleaning and usually need fewer implants, so they often cost less. Fixed dentures feel more like natural teeth but need more implants and more careful cleaning around them.
Placement is comfortable for most people because the area is numbed first, and IV sedation is available if you'd like it. Mild soreness for a couple of days is common, and many people are back to their usual routine within a day. Your written aftercare instructions explain what's normal and when to call us.
Often in part. Some plans pay toward the denture even when they cover little of the implants. Our office is in network for Delta Dental, Tricare and Connection Dental, and our Dental Financing page explains payment options for any remaining balance.
